Cathay Pigments High Purity Products Cathay Pigments has a unique manufacturing facility in Valparaiso, Indiana. This plant manufactures magnetic inks, MICR Inks, Security inks, audio oxide, low coercively magnetic striping products, toners and High Purity Iron Oxides. In particular, the High Purity Iron Oxide line represents a product group that is FDA and E172 compliant, and is used in many applications worldwide, including cosmetics, human food, pet food, pharmaceuticals and cigarette paper colorants. These High Purity Iron Oxide products represent some of the most pure iron oxides in the world.

Cathay Pigments Coatings Products Cathay Pigments has aggressively addressed the development of products for the coatings market. Our coatings products are currently used in decorative paints, inks, powder coatings, coil coatings, wood coatings and architectural paints.
